1. Goldshire Footman

| I couldn't find a better image to make the card. |
Goldshire Footman is the only 1 mana Taunt minion aside the Warlock Voidwalker. My suggestion is to simply give him a battlecry to give 1 armor. Its a "miserable effect", but I think something better could make him stronger than desirable. And the one can be used to trigger Siege Engine (+1 Attack) or with Shield Slam to make one more damage.
2. Frostwolf Grunt
![]() |
| Same here :( |
Frostwolf Grunt 2 Amor gain is better than the Armor Up hero power. Well, 2/2 stats for a taunt is kind of poor, So, Frostwolf Grunt could be awesome with this effect. Still a poor taunt, but give armor, which can be used if you are a Warrior or simply can give you some survivability.
In my opinion Armor could be like Spell Damage. Its available to all classes, but some get more value of this mechanic than others.
3. War Golem
War Golem sometimes is named as the worst Hearthstone Card - Generally War Golem gets second place. Boulderfist Ogre is better than actual War Golem. In my oppinion, War Golem needs to stay as a blank minion (a minion with no text).
The way to make him better? In my point of view, the way is to give him unique stats. No non-legendary minion have stats like my version of War Golem. Ten points of life is so many, and can combo with:
Crazed Alchemist
Sunfury Protector
Ancestral Healing
Mark of Nature
Divine Spirit + Inner Fire
Also, a 4 attack give him Immunity to Shadow Words and BGH.
4. Totemic Might
Everytime War Golem loses the 1st place as worst card in Hearthstone, it loses to Totemic Might. Oh yeah, +2 Health to totems is not so good actually, and +3 seems too much, no?
My version of Totemic Might works in this way: Friendly Totems will always have +1 Health. It affects all totems in play and all totems when they enter play. Your Totems from Totemic Call will always have more Health. And also, if you already used one Totemic Might, you gain a card too. Because +2 Health is good, but you'll need 2 cards, maybe it cost too much in terms of arsenal.
5. Far Sight
The answer here is simple: You can choose between two options, which card to put in your hand and give the mana discount. You can see what is ahead, and choose the path.
Maybe, 3 mana for a 3 discount in this case is not enough, because you discard a card too. So, a option too is to reduce its mana cost to two. Then, the result became two mana and a card to gain another card with a three mana discount.
6. Al'Akir, the Windlord
Three Shaman cards in a row. I confess, Shaman is my favorite class.First of all, much people says that Divine Shield is weak. I kind of agree and my suggestion is that Divine Shield can be cumulative. A minion with 2 charges of Divine Shield will reduce damage to zero two times.
And Al'Akir, he is unique, because he have all this status in one card. My suggestion is to give him two charges of Divine Shield. So he can ignore damage two times.
7. Bite
When you compares Bite with Claw, you can see how this card is underpowered. Two times the effect for four times the cost. My solution is to simple add one point of damage and armor. Still not powerfull, but now just ok.
Why not six points of attack? Because six attack Bite is a Fireball with Armor. Maybe too powerfull (or not?).
8. Flame Leviathan
Just a Free Arcane Explosion, and the effect to always return. Maybe make no sense in terms of lore, but its my idea at all. Maybe someday I'll have a better Idea.
9. Bolvar Fordragon
My answer is simple: if what changes is his "Original" Attack, Silence don't work against him. There is a lot of removals, but silence became no problem. And also, when he is revived (if it happens) he will return with the "Original" Attack when he is played.
And if he is returned to hand, the attack still the same value when played. Even if two copies reach your hand by a Stolen Duplicate, both will have the same amount of Attack, because what changed is his Original Attack.
- But hey! Change the Original Attack? It is crazy!
- Yeah, but Hearthstone is a card game with crazy ideas.
10. Hemet Nesingwary
Situacional, but give him a but without removing the original effect, and still not too strong.
11. Nefarian
In my opinion Nefarian is ok. He is not too strong and not useless like the Haters says. But some people says that he is a Great Dragon. He can rival to the Aspects! How to make him stronger without givin' him too much power?
To be as powerful as Ysera, Nefarian just need to take a Minion. So you can steal two spells and a minion, and minions have more value than spells in so many situations.
With this new effect, the player can still get a very weak minion, like a Dust Devil or a Vitality Totem, or a Strong Minion, like the Fire Elemental or even Neptulon or Al'Akir.
